The Following Legend shows the skill levels for each trip

Beginner Trip
$39 Adult - $30 Child - minimum age 7*
Enjoy an alpine setting on this 1/3-day trip as you ride the waves in the Wild Wild West. Float past an historic waterwheel, drop over Castle Falls, paddle though Mountain Lion, then hold on tight for Mr. Twister. For younger people and inexperienced paddlers, this section serves up 11 fun-filled rapids as the perfect introduction to whitewater!

Intermediate ½ Day
$49 per person
- minimum age 15*
Hold onto that paddle and get ready to get wet! This exciting stretch of the river is Clear Creek's most popular trip! Continuous class III and IV rapids will thrill guests throughout the run. Surge over Nomad, power through the Phoenix Holes and take on the class IV climax, the Outer Limits. Good physical condition and the ability to swim are recommended.

Advanced Full Day
$92 per person
- minimum age 16*
If you're in good physical condition, have an aggressive attitude, and are up for a challenge, this is the trip for you! Starting high in the canyon, there's just enough time to warm up before plummeting into the first class IV rapid. You will encounter 30 major rapids on this 18-mile trip dropping an incredible 1300 vertical feet. After a delicious complementary lunch, rev up for the heart-pounding, physically demanding, continuous class IV-V whitewater of Double Knife, Hell's Corner, Terminator, and Corkscrew. Prior experience and the ability to swim are recommended.

Meet at our office at 5:00 pm and share an evening of adventure. Enjoy the alpenglow in the quieting canyon, and choose from the Beginner or Intermediate trip as the perfect way to top off the day.

Royal Gorge ½ Day
$55 per person

One of our most popular trips! Experience the thrill of maneuvering a raft down the class IV Sunshine Falls, through SledgeHammer, then watch out at Wall Slammer! Excitement abounds in this steep, spectacular canyon, with a fantastic view of the world's highest suspension bridge.

Royal Gorge Full Day
$90 per person -
minimum age 15*
Don't miss the boat by missing this full day trip. Warm up in the morning with our popular Bighorn Sheep Canyon trip, stop for a delicious lunch prepared by your guides, then continue downstream through the challenging rapids of the Royal Gorge. This trip offers majestic scenery, exciting rapids, and promises to be an unforgettable experience.

Bighorn Sheep Canyon ½ Day
$39 Adult, $30 Child -- minimum age 7*
This slightly milder class III trip is ideal for younger people or first-timers. There's plenty of action as you paddle through Spike Buck, drop into Double Dip, and ride the waves of Shark's Tooth. Full day with lunch provided upon request.

Brown's Canyon Full Day
$79 Adult - $67 Child
- minimum age 7* Combining exciting whitewater with gorgeous scenery, this class III trip is truly memorable. Pivot through Pinball, shoot down Zoom Flume, and flirt with the Widow Maker. Fun is the name of the game in this wilderness setting. We provide lunch. Minimum group size 10.

Brown's Canyon 2-Day
$325 per person -
minimum age 7*
Get away from it all and spend the night under the stars on the banks of the Arkansas River. Day 1 begins with a trip through the class III rapids of the Narrows, and on Day 2 the excitement continues in the famous Brown's Canyon. Your guides will make you a delicious dinner, a hearty breakfast, and two lunches during this whitewater excursion. Minimum group size 4.

Brown's / Royal Gorge 2-Day
$325 per person -
minimum age 15*
If you're looking for more adventure, spend Day 1 on our classic Brown's Canyon trip, then challenge yourself on Day 2 with the thrilling rapids of the Royal Gorge. Let your guides prepare dinner, breakfast, and two lunches-you'll need all your energy for the rapids! Minimum group size 4.

Arkansas 3-Day
$400 per person
- minimum age 15*
Get the best the Arkansas River has to offer with this extended adventure! Begin with the Brown's Canyon 2-Day trip and follow it up with a climactic run through the Royal Gorge. A short drive is needed between sections and all meals are provided. Minimum group size 4.

On multi-day trips you provide your own tents and sleeping bags; however, with advance notice, we can arrange rentals.

Clear Creek Rafting Co. occasionally offers Class V trips to people who have prior experience with Clear Creek Rafting Co. and who have proven their skills and ability to handle the inherent risks involved. Because Class V is the highest level of navigable whitewater, a stringent test of skills and good physical condition are prerequisites. Portages, capsizes, and swimming occur on these trips. We reserve the right to refuse these trips to anyone at our discretion. Minimum group size is 4 and the minimum age is 18. Lunch is provided

CLASS I - Moving water with a few riffles or small waves, few or no obstructions.
CLASS II - Easy rapids with predictable waves, clear passages, and wide channels;
some maneuvering required
CLASS III - Moderately difficult rapids with irregular waves and some complex maneuvering required to avoid obstacles
CLASS IV - Difficult rapids with complex channels, waves, and hydraulics. Precise maneuvering in turbulent waters is often required to avoid significant obstacles.
CLASS V - Extremely difficult, long and violent rapids with highly congested routes that often follow each other without interruption. Precise maneuvering in very turbulent waters is required.
CLASS VI - Generally considered unrunnable. Possibility of injury or death likely!
